For those who travel on Houston roads every day, it's no secret that traffic is a big concern for residents in the city. As the effects of Covid-19 linger on Texas traffic, Texas A&M Transportation Institute released a new study for 2022 based on the 2021 calendar year — funded by the Texas Department of Transportation — to look at the most congested roadways in Texas. Coming in at No. 1 on the list is Houston's I-610, from the Katy Freeway to I-69. The highway segments studied, which total 1,860 in 23 urban regions, have been reviewed since 2009, a release said.
