A tropical storm is expected to make landfall in the south Texas Gulf Coast Tuesday morning, with experts predicting possible widespread flooding and landslides in the region lasting into Wednesday. According to a Tuesday morning advisory from the National Hurricane Center, "heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Harold is expected across South Texas through early Wednesday, and may produce areas of flash and urban flooding." NHC forecasters also warned that "coastal flooding is possible along the south Texas coast today through Tuesday evening.
