Mister Car Wash in Houston, Texas

Horrible customer service from the attendant. I asked the guy to prewash the front of my car. He tells someone else to do it. But the other guy prewashes the back of my car. When the original guy comes back, I say can you all wash the front of my car. He tells me he already did. I say he didn’t and he continues to argue with me that the other person already did. Then he pushes the button for me to continue through the car wash. To make matters worst my car is still dirty. This is the worst service I’ve ever gotten since I’ve been living in Houston...hands down. If you go to this car wash go early in the day...the earlier crew seems much more attentive to customers and their needs.

I've been coming here for years. I have several vehicles which require regular car washes, and this has been my go-to location. I even use Mister Car Wash when I go to other cities (especially Austin). Today, however, was a completely different story. I broughy my fiancee's Infiniti G37 convertible in for a cleaning - interior and exterior. The cleaning was done as expected. However, when I got in the car to drive off, I was asked to wait because the car in front of me was still being detailed. No problem. I attempted to open the top. (It's September in Houston!) The top would only open about halfway. I figured some water got somewhere it's not supposed to, so I shook the trunk lid and the top a bit and tried a few more times. It was around this time that the car in front of mine was moved. A worker came over and asked me to move my car. I told him that my top was halfway down and I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't move, and I wasn't ready to move the car with the top halfway down. He threatened to call the police on me for not moving my car (then walked away). I ignored him and looked at the top. It was then that I noticed that there were some items which had fallen between the works of the top. These items had been placed on the shelf behind the back seats, which I have warned them about each and every time not to do on this vehicle. It took some work before I was able to unwedge the items out. After I got it all unstuck and was able to put the top all the way open, I moved the car into a side parking space and asked one of the workers who the manager is, as I wanted to talk with him/her about the police 'threat' and the issue of putting the items on the back shelf on a hardtop convertible. I was pointed to the same guy who threatened to call the police, so I approached him and told him that I thought he overreacted - and also wanted to mention the situation with the shelf. He started cussing at me and told me to get off the property. I told him off [yes] then walked to my car. He followed me in a threatening manner and loomed over me while I was sitting down, trash talking me and threatening me with violence. He then kicked the car. I got out of the car and asked his name, but he refused to give it to me. He just told me "F*** you" to which I replied the same to him and told him that I would be calling the corporate office (which I have, leaving a message). This is a good location for Mister Car Wash, but I will not be revisiting this location or any other until I receive communication that this person has been fired or otherwise severely reprimanded. If that happens, I will return and update this review and adjust my rating.
