This place would of got 5 stars if I didn't go back and meet the night staff. I was being harassed by the staff about my service dog. I showed the security guard her paperwork. So he asked if I was waiting to be seen and I told him I was discharged but waiting on a social worker. He told me they would not be in until the morning and I needed to leave. That's fine. I was going through my paperwork and I noticed I didn't see my prescription in there. I went back to get it and the security gaurd was so upset that during his shift change he was loud and talking about "she has a dog and she made up something about a prescription but when she's done she has to leave!" So the next guard started to make threats in reference to me talking to the front desk worker, "I am sleepy and I get cranky when I don't sleep, all I need is one person to try me tonight." Then she looks at me. First off, if someone is willing to wait in the ER until the morning to speak to a social worker maybe there is something wrong. Second, I have never been bullied because I have a service animal and a hospital should train the employees on ADA guidelines. Lastly, it wasn't just the security gaurds acting like this, a nurse joined in the fun as well. I would like to add that the staff during my initial visit was great. It was super busy and I waited a while but they were helpful through every step. The night staff can use some work.
