Following Friday's Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, abortion providers and clinics across the U.S. are grappling with a new national landscape in which state legislatures will determine whether abortion providers can continue administering care. One such institution navigating this new reality is the Houston Women's Clinic, which posted a sign outside its San Jacinto Street offices on Friday morning following Roe's overturning. Texas lawyer and former NASA engineer Poppy Northcutt tweeted a photo of herself in front of the banner, which announced "HWC is no longer able to provide abortion care.
