A confounding series of school shooting hoaxes have been reported to police across California and Texas in the past two days. In Fresno, Houston and several locales in between, the calls have all been similar, the Los Angeles Times reported. Each time, single caller reported an active shooter on school grounds, with multiple people shot. The horrifying reports have sent flurries of law enforcement officers to all the schools, only for the cops to find nothing but confused staffers and terrified students.
